Close – Is it a Referral Scam or is it Legit? Scam! I’m naturally skeptical of any money-making scheme that seems too good to be true. The referral scheme is a scam I tested because of my skepticism.

My daughter-in-law, Cathy, showed it to me the morning of April 4, 2017. Her account said she had earned $95 already. She wanted to know if it was a scam that day and I couldn’t truthfully answer her question. Now I can.

I registered at with Cathy’s referral link while she watched and I saw her account increase on her cell phone.

Since then, she’s gone well beyond the $400 required for payout, which they’re supposed to pay at the end of the month. I just went above $400 a couple of hours ago.

I posted my referral link to Facebook back on April 4 and I deleted it today. As far as I’m concerned, the game is over.

It’s a Scam

After you reach the $400 goal, the website changes. They claim they want you to fill out a survey to prove you’re not a robot. Underneath the link, there’s a box to place your real name.

I clicked the link and I ended up on another website that wanted my mobile number to send me PIN to complete the survey. Guess what? I never received the PIN.

When I went back and tried again. I ended up at a big, red Google warning page indicating an unsafe web page up ahead.

The scam is to promise you something they can’t (or won’t) deliver. They’re just trying to collect as much information about you as they can possibly get. Names, addresses, phone numbers, etc. You will not get paid.

Why are they collecting this information? Who knows? Who cares? If you’ve done what I’ve done and played along, you’re probably going to get spammed to death. I hope you used a throwaway e-mail address and I hope you know how to block spam numbers on your phone.

Even if this scheme is legit (which I don’t think it is), they’re using unethical and unscrupulous methods to get you to give up your information. My advice is to stay away.

Update May 1, 2017

The domain name now redirects to the domain name. It’s another scam, of course.
