Apple Cider Vinegar – Is it Healthier than any other Type of Vinegar?

apple cider vinegar Whenever you read an article about the benefits of vinegar, the type mentioned is almost always apple cider vinegar. What makes it healthier than any other? In my opinion, nothing at all.

Does apple cider vinegar taste like apples? I wouldn’t know, I’ve never used it for anything. Years ago, I used coconut vinegar to cure myself of heartburn and acid reflux disease.

Apple Cider Vinegar Health Treatments

Before I mention anything more, you can probably use any kind of vinegar, not just apple cider vinegar. According to tons of articles I’ve read, mix one or two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water to make it easier to take. Use two tablespoons to be safe. This will supposedly help with:

The only one I can verify is the first one because it worked for me. I used coconut vinegar back when I took care of my problems. Since then, I’ve taken plain white vinegar (made from whatever) a couple of times, just because I thought I was starting to have heartburn.

Apple Cider Vinegar probably doesn’t Taste like Apples

Vinegar is made from fermented fruit. Any fruit can probably be used, though I don’t know why anyone would want to make vinegar instead of wine from grapes.

I seriously doubt apple cider vinegar tastes like apples. When I used coconut vinegar, it didn’t taste like coconuts. In my mind, vinegar just tastes like vinegar.

There’s an alternative to taking any kind of vinegar regularly.

Salad Dressing

One popular Mediterranean salad dressing is “oil and vinegar”. I don’t know what type of vinegar is used or what type of oil is used. If I make assumptions, I can at least say olive oil. According to the spruce, this is called a “vinaigrette”.

The alternative to taking any kind of vinegar regularly is to eat salads regularly using oil and vinegar dressings instead of the other popular dressings. The vinegar doesn’t have to be apple cider vinegar.
