About RT Cunningham

I’ve been on the Internet in one way or another since it was first called the “Internet”. The web is a different beast than it was back then, but I’m still me. I’m just quite a few years older (look at my birth information below and do the math).

My Abbreviated Biography:

My full name is Richard Timothy Cunningham, but I prefer to be called “RT”. I was born in November, 1960. My wife’s name is Josephine and she was born in August, 1961. My older son (adopted stepson) is Joseph and my younger son is Jonathan. I live in the Philippines and sometimes my wife and younger son live with me.

I grew up in Arizona (USA) with my parents and eight other siblings until I was about 13 years-old (1960 to 1974). We moved to Hawaii (USA) in 1974 and returned to Arizona in 1977. I graduated from high school and went on active duty in the military in 1978. I retired from the military in 1998 and lived in Arizona, about 70 miles from my parents, until I moved to the Philippines in 2006.

I subsist on my military pension and the income I generate from my online activities. I can only describe my lifestyle as “comfortable”. I am an American with a permanent resident visa for the Philippines. My wife and my younger son are citizens of both the United States and the Philippines (dual citizens) while my older son is only a US Citizen (he’ll probably never apply for dual citizenship).

I met my wife while I was deployed to the Philippines in 1983, in Olongapo City, and we’ve been married since 1985.
